Shooting at the House of Lancaster

From City News:

Bullets flew outside the House of Lancaster on Bloor early this morning. Several shots were fired into the door of the club around 3:30 am. Police tell us a patron became upset, went outside and fired four rounds into the front door. No one was hurt but shell casings littered the sidewalk. Police say the suspect was captured on the club's security video. No arrests yet.

Just yesterday about 200 local residents (my very rough estimate) marched along this strip of Bloor to protest 'government inaction' on crime and other social problems in the area. Liberal MPP Tony Ruprecht, ever the opportunist, made a tough-sounding speech. He'll say pretty much anything to get re-elected. Ruprecht may be a useless legislator, but he is a first-rate politician. Conning voters is an art and Ruprecht has mastered the craft.
